So, I’ve kept going with my video experiment. It’s weird in the way that writing a blog post or a talk can take time and be considered and edited, talking to camera about a topic, unscripted for a few minutes is a deliberate challenge and quite an uncomfortable one!

The feedback I’ve had from it has been really positive and the amount of views has surpassed any modest expectations I might’ve had at the start, not that I would claim to be a YouTuber now.

I’m hoping that talking about aspects around the artefacts of design systems that people will start to see how much of the work isn’t in design or code, but enabling communication, collaboration and education that in turn enables the design work to be successful.
