…and now in analogue!

25th March, 2010

I like blabbering or ranting abotu the web.  I like to think it shows I love the field I work in!  Better than that is having anyone listen (which is why I’ve tried speaking a few times) or even read my inane ramblings.  So I’ve had the chance recently to post on Think Vitamin thanks to Keir and now I’ve had the chance to do a small piece for .Net magazine.  While it’s only a few hundred words, it was a great experience to write and who knows – maybe that might help to do something similar in the future?

A year ago this month…

22nd January, 2010

While reading Phil Thompson’s post ‘Andy Budd ruined my life‘, remembered I’d done an interview piece with him a year ago about speaking at events.  It’s great for me to able to reflect on this and remind myself how much things have changed since then!  I’ve become a full-time freelancer, been to many more events and met many great people, spoken at a few more events and organising my own.  Even trying my hand at writing…  Who knows how things’ll be this time next year?

How about yourselves?

First Article!

21st January, 2010

I’ve had my first article published, on Carsonified’s blog ‘Think Vitamin’ called ‘The C Word: How Context Can Inform Our Design Process‘ based on the presentation I gave last year at WDC.  Have a read and let me know what you make of it!
